Editorial policy
Curious Community News aims to make its explanations clear, careful and useful. We distinguish general ideas from claims that require verification, and we make room for correction when something is wrong or unclear.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual claims against the material available to us and write within the limits of what can be established. We explain uncertainty rather than dressing it up as certainty. Articles should make clear what is a general suggestion, what is an example and what depends on a particular group’s circumstances.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to guarantee favourable coverage for a partner or contributor. A relationship that could reasonably affect how a piece is understood will be disclosed in clear language alongside that material.
Corrections
If you notice a factual error or a passage that needs clarification, use the Contact page and identify the article and the issue. We review reports and correct material when warranted, making changes clear when they materially affect a reader’s understanding.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or otherwise agreed partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Illustrations may sometimes be AI-generated; when that is the case, they are identified as such. Images are not presented as documentary evidence unless they genuinely serve that role.
Belonging grows through shared effort
Communities are not made by grand gestures alone. Small, well-considered invitations and exchanges can help people contribute in ways that suit them.
